WIESBADEN – Between January and September 2020, roughly 88,200 businesses were started in Germany whose legal form and number of employees suggest that they have greater economic importance. Based on the evaluation of business registrations, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that this was a 6.4% decline compared with the same period a year earlier.
