WIESBADEN – German construction enterprises with more than 20 persons employed invested 5.0 billion euros in tangible fixed assets in 2019. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that this was an increase of around 290 million euros compared to the year 2018 (+6.2%). The investment volume thus reached the highest level for 24 years (1995: 4.7 billion euros).
