New orders in main construction industry, October 2020
+0.1% on the previous month (in real terms, seasonally and calendar adjusted)
+2.1% on the same month a year earlier (in real terms, calendar adjusted)
+4.5% on the same month a year earlier (in nominal terms)
WIESBADEN – The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that price-adjusted new orders in the main construction industry in October 2020 increased a seasonally and working-day adjusted 0.1% on September 2020.
In building construction and civil and underground engineering, in establishments of enterprises with 20 or more persons, new orders increased by 4.5% in nominal terms compared with the corresponding month of the previous year.
