WIESBADEN – The seasonally and calendar adjusted cash revenue from joint taxes in Germany dropped 8.2% in January 2021 compared with December 2020. These tax receipts are distributed among the Federation, Länder and municipalities. They include turnover and income taxes. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the revenue from federal and Länder taxes, in contrast, increased by 1.3% and 0.8%, respectively.
