WIESBADEN - Recovery of the service sector as a whole continued in Germany in the fourth quarter of 2020. Turnover increased slightly already in the third quarter of the year. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that development differed largely between the individual service branches. Turnover in the travel industry declined by almost one third compared with the previous quarter, while postal and courier services again profited considerably from the restrictions caused by the corona crisis.
