WIESBADEN – In 2020, the annual turnover in the main construction industry was up 4.9% compared with 2019. Thus turnover in the main construction industry increased for the eigth year in a row. Based on provisional results, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that, compared with the previous year, an increase in turnover was recorded for almost all branches of the main construction industry. The number of persons employed was up 1.5% on a year earlier.
