WIESBADEN – In 2020, 77,000 tonnes of champignons were harvested in holdings with a cultivation area of at least 0.1 hectares in Germany. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the production of champignons increased by almost 10% compared with 2019.
The total of edible mushrooms harvested in Germany amounted to 78,700 tonnes.
