WIESBADEN – Nearly one enterprise in five with more than ten employees in manufacturing in Germany used industrial or service robots in 2020. Their share has risen from 16% to 19% since 2018. To coincide with the opening of the digital Hannover Messe trade show on 12 April 2021, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that manufacturing is the economic section where the use of robots is the most common.
