WIESBADEN – In April 2021, the construction of a total of 29,637 dwellings was permitted in Germany. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this was a decrease of 22.9% in seasonally and calendar adjusted terms compared with March 2021. The figures include building permits regarding new buildings and work on existing buildings.
