WIESBADEN – In April 2021, 184 people were killed in road traffic accidents in Germany. Based on provisional figures, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this was a decrease of 60 people compared with April 2020. The number of road traffic accident fatalities in April 2021 was the lowest ever recorded in an April since German reunification. The number of persons injured was up by 0.3% to roughly 21,200 compared with the same month a year earlier.
