- At night, mobility still 17% below 2019 level
- Mobility during the day higher than in June 2020, at night at similar level as in June 2020
WIESBADEN – During the day, mobility in Germany in June 2021 was at the same level as in the relevant month of 2019 on a federal average. In May 2021, mobility during the day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. was 4% below the level of May 2019, in April 2021 it was 7% less than in April 2019. This is shown by an ad-hoc evaluation of experimental data carried out by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) to represent recent mobility changes during the coronavirus pandemic.
