WIESBADEN – In July 2021, Germany’s exports to countries outside the European Union (third countries) were down 2.7% on June 2021 after calendar and seasonal adjustment. Based on provisional data, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that, on a calendar and seasonally adjusted basis, exports to third countries were 7.8% higher than in February 2020, the month before restrictions were imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic in Germany.
