Turnover in accommodation and food services, July 2021 (provisional results, calendar and seasonally adjusted)

WIESBADEN - In July 2021, the calendar and seasonally adjusted turnover in accommodation and food services increased by a real (price adjusted) 20.8% and a nominal (not price adjusted) 21.3% compared with June 2021. Based on provisional results, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the turnover in the accommodation and food services sector in July 2021 was still a real 23.5% below the level of February 2020, the month before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in Germany. Turnover was up a real 3.5% on July 2020.
