WIESBADEN – More security through additional business activities: more and more agricultural holdings try to reduce the risk of strong income fluctuations by diversifying their income. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that half of all agricultural holdings in Germany obtained income from agriculture-related activities in addition to primary agricultural production in 2020.
