Press Building permits for dwellings in September 2021: +3.9% on a seasonally and calendar adjusted basis compared with the previous month

  • Construction of 30,952 dwellings permitted in September 2021
  • January to September 2021: building permits up 5.4% on the same period a year earlier

WIESBADEN – According to provisional figures, the construction of 30,952 dwellings was authorised in September 2021. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this was an increase of 3.9% in seasonally and calendar adjusted terms compared with August 2021.
