WIESBADEN – The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) gave the 2021 Gerhard Fürst Award to four outstanding scientific projects. The prize was awarded for three examination papers and one doctoral thesis discussing issues in the field of statistics, data analysis and new digital applications. With its prize the Federal Statistical Office promotes innovative methodological research and digitalisation processes in official statistics.
