Persons employed in the service sector, 3rd quarter of 2021 (seasonally adjusted, provisional):
-0.2% on the previous quarter
+0.8% on the same quarter of the previous year
WIESBADEN – According to provisional results of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the enterprises in Germany generated a calendar and seasonally adjusted, nominal turnover (not price adjusted) in the third quarter of 2021 that was 5.2% higher than in the second quarter of 2021. Compared with the same quarter a year earlier, the calendar and seasonally adjusted turnover was up by 15.8%. After turnover in the second quarter of 2021 had reached the pre-crisis level of the fourth quarter of 2019 for the first time since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, it was 5.2% above the pre-crisis level in the third quarter of 2021.
