WIESBADEN – Producer prices of agricultural products were 20.8% higher in November 2021 than in November 2020. This has been the highest year-on-year increase in prices since July 2011. Compared with October 2021, the prices were up by 4.1%. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that especially the prices of plant products rose on the same month of the preceding year. In November 2021, they were 29.4% higher than in November 2020. The prices of animal products increased by 14.9% year on year.
