New orders in main construction industry, December 2021
+24.1% on the previous month (in real terms, seasonally and calendar adjusted)
+12.2% on the same month a year earlier (in real terms, calendar adjusted)
+26.9% on the same month a year earlier (in nominal terms)

WIESBADEN – The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that price-adjusted new orders in the main construction industry in December 2021 increased a seasonally and working-day adjusted 24.1% on November 2021.

In building construction and civil and underground engineering, in establishments of enterprises with 20 or more persons, new orders increased by 26.9% in nominal terms compared with the corresponding month of the previous year.
