WIESBADEN – Producer prices of agricultural products were 21.1% higher in January 2022 than in January 2021. Compared with December 2021, the prices were up by 1.7%. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the prices of plant products and animal products recorded a substantial increase on the same month a year earlier (+23.6% and +19.3%, respectively).
