WIESBADEN – In April 2022, the real (price adjusted) turnover of the service sector in Germany (not including financial and insurance activities) was 10.4% higher and the nominal (not price adjusted) turnover 15.3% higher than in April 2021, according to provisional results of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). Services production, that is the price adjusted total of services provided on the basis of gross value added, rose 9.1% in April 2022 year on year.
