New orders in main construction industry, June 2022
-5.5% on the previous month (in real terms, seasonally and calendar adjusted)
-11.2% on the same month a year earlier (in real terms, calendar adjusted)
+4.1% on the same month a year earlier (in nominal terms)
WIESBADEN – The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that price-adjusted new orders in the main construction industry in June 2022 decreased a seasonally and working-day adjusted 5.5% on May 2022.
In building construction and civil and underground engineering, in establishments of enterprises with 20 or more persons, new orders increased by 4.1% in nominal terms compared with the corresponding month of the previous year.
