Turnover in building completion work, second quarter 2022

WIESBADEN – As reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), turnover in building completion work declined by 5.2% in real terms (price adjusted) in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the second quarter of the previous year. Due to the substantial increase in construction prices, however, nominal turnover was up by 10.4%.
At the end of June 2022 the number of persons employed by building completion work entrepreneurs was up 0.7% compared to the level a year earlier.
