Overnight stays, August 2022
58.2 million
+4.0% on the same month a year earlier
WIESBADEN – The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that the number of overnight stays in Germany increased by 4.0 % to 58.2 million in August 2022, compared with the corresponding month of the preceding year. Compared with August 2019, the number of overnight stays increased by 0.6 %.
The figures refer to accommodation establishments with 10 or more bed places and in tourist campsites having 10 or more pitches.
