WIESBADEN – In August 2022, 291 people were killed in road traffic accidents in Germany. Based on provisional figures, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the number of people who died in such accidents was up by 49 compared with August 2021. The number of people injured increased by 10% to 35,200 in August 2022 year on year.
