WIESBADEN – On 17 November 2022, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) gave the prize for junior scientists “Statistical Science for the Society” to two outstanding scientific projects. In addition, a Covid-19 special prize was awarded. The award-winning papers focus on issues of statistics, data analysis and new digital applications. By awarding its research prizes, the Federal Statistical Office promotes innovative data use and methodological research in scientific examination papers that are closely related to official statistics.
