New orders in main construction industry, September 2022
-3.6% on the previous month (in real terms, seasonally and calendar adjusted)
-22.6% on the same month a year earlier (in real terms, calendar adjusted)
-9.3% on the same month a year earlier (in nominal terms)
WIESBADEN – The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that price-adjusted new orders in the main construction industry in September 2022 decreased a seasonally and working-day adjusted 3.6% on August 2022.
In building construction and civil and underground engineering, in establishments of enterprises with 20 or more persons, new orders decreased by 9.3% in nominal terms compared with the corresponding month of the previous year.
