Turnover in the service sector, September 2022 (provisional, calendar and seasonally adjusted)

WIESBADEN – In September 2022, the turnover of the service sector in Germany (not including financial and insurance activities) was 0.7% higher both in real terms (price adjusted ) and in nominal terms (not price adjusted) than in August 2022, according to provisional results of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) after calendar and seasonal adjustment. Compared with September 2021, the service sector recorded a 12.0% increase in turnover in real terms and a nominal increase of 15.9%.
