Producer prices of services, 3rd quarter of 2022:
+5.2% on the same quarter a year earlier
+1.1% on the previous quarter
WIESBADEN – The producer prices of services in Germany were up 5.2% in the third quarter of 2022 compared with the third quarter of 2021. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that prices increased by 1.1% on the second quarter of 2022. The largest price increases were recorded for the transportation and storage section, not least due to the continuing high prices of motor fuel. There even was a new record increase in freight transport by road year on year.
