New orders in main construction industry, October 2022
+7.3% on the previous month (in real terms, seasonally and calendar adjusted)
-12.9% on the same month a year earlier (in real terms, calendar adjusted)
-0.6% on the same month a year earlier (in nominal terms)
WIESBADEN – The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that price-adjusted new orders in the main construction industry in October 2022 increased a seasonally and working-day adjusted 7.3% on September 2022.
In building construction and civil and underground engineering, in establishments of enterprises with 20 or more persons, new orders decreased by 0.6% in nominal terms compared with the corresponding month of the previous year.
