WIESBADEN – The prices of new residential buildings (conventional construction) in Germany rose by 16.9% in November 2022 compared with November 2021, as reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). In August 2022, the previous reference month of the statistics, prices had increased by 16.5% year on year. Compared with August 2022, construction prices were up 2.5% in November 2022. All price data refer to construction operations performed at the building, including value-added tax.
