Overnight stays, November 2022
29,8 million
+21.8% on the same month a year earlier
WIESBADEN – The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that the number of overnight stays in Germany increased by 21.8% to 29,8 million in November 2022, compared with the corresponding month of the preceding year. Compared with November 2019, before the onset of the pandemic, the number of overnight stays decreased by 8.1%.
The figures refer to accommodation establishments with 10 or more bed places and in tourist campsites having 10 or more pitches.
