Turnover in the service sector, November 2022 (provisional, calendar and seasonally adjusted)
-0.2% on the previous month (in real terms)
-0.4% on the previous month (in nominal terms)
+6.1% on the same month a year earlier (in real terms)
+10.0% on the same month a year earlier (in nominal terms)
WIESBADEN – In November 2022, the real (price adjusted) turnover of the service sector in Germany (not including financial and insurance activities) was 0.2% lower and the nominal (not price adjusted) turnover 0.4% lower than in October 2022, according to provisional results of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) after calendar and seasonal adjustment. Despite the decrease, turnover was a real 6.1%, and a nominal 10.0% higher than in November 2021. Compared with the pre-crisis level of November 2019, turnover was up a real 2.2% and a nominal 15.5%.
