WIESBADEN – On an annual average, the producer prices of services were up 5.5% in Germany in 2022 year on year. Compared with the previous year, the price increase was slightly smaller (2021 from 2020: +8.0%). The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the price increase slowed. Producer prices of services in the fourth quarter of 2022 rose just slightly (+0.9%) from the fourth quarter of 2021. Prices even decreased (-2.7%) on the third quarter of 2022.
