WIESBADEN – The prices of new residential buildings (conventional construction) in Germany rose by 15.1% in February 2023 compared with February 2022, as reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). In November 2022, the previous reference month of the statistics, prices had increased by 16.9% year on year. Compared with November 2022, construction prices were up 2.7% in February 2023. All price data refer to construction operations performed at the building, including value-added tax.
