WIESBADEN – In January 2023, the real (price adjusted) turnover of the service sector in Germany (not including financial and insurance activities) was the same as in December 2022, according to provisional results of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) after calendar and seasonal adjustment. The nominal (not price adjusted) turnover was up slightly by 0.1% compared with the previous month.
