Prices of residential property, 2nd quarter of 2024 (provisional)
-2.6% on the same quarter of the previous year
+1.3% on the previous quarter
WIESBADEN – In the 2nd quarter of 2024, the prices of residential property (house price index) in Germany decreased by an average of 2.6% compared with the 2nd quarter of 2023. Compared with the previous quarter, prices were up by 1.3%. This was the first quarter-on-quarter increase observed since the 2nd quarter of 2022.
