- Exports of new cars to the US decreased by 1.9% over the same period
- Passenger cars to the value of 57.9 billion euros were exported in the first five months of 2025
- Most important destinations were the United Kingdom, the US and Italy
WIESBADEN – Approximately 1.5 million new cars to the value of 57.9 billion euros were exported from Germany in the period January to May 2025. According to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the number of new cars exported was up 1.1% compared with the same period of the previous year. In terms of value, new car exports increased by 0.4%.
