Truck toll mileage index, July 2025
+2.3% on the previous month (calendar and seasonally adjusted)
+1.1% on the same month a year earlier (calendar adjusted)
KÖLN/WIESBADEN – The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways increased by 2.3% in July 2025 compared with June 2025, after calendar and seasonal adjustment. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that, on a calendar adjusted basis, the truck toll mileage index was up 1.1% compared with July 2024.

The following changes to the GENESIS-Online web service interfaces (API) will take effect on 15 July 2025: POST methods of the RESTful/JSON interface will replace the SOAP/XML interface and GET methods of the RESTful/JSON interface. Please adapt your processes now to use POST requests for the RESTful/JSON interface.
