WIESBADEN – In insolvency proceedings in Germany (without Bremen) that were opened in 2010 and completed by the end of 2014, creditors received an average 2.6% of the debts owed to them. Based on provisional figures, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this coverage ratio was determined as the ratio between the amount available for distribution (282 million euros) and the prorated claims of creditors (10.9 billion euros). The losses of creditors amounted to 10.6 billion euros.
