WIESBADEN – In 2016, the total of waste electrical and electronic equipment accepted and treated in primary treatment facilities amounted to 782,2 thousand tonnes, of which 667.8 thousand tonnes were recycled, that is recovered as material. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this figure accounted for 85.4% of the total of waste electrical and electronic equipment accepted.
