Statistical range: This database covers the external trade of all states. Data is presented by several international classifications (BEC, SITC, HS). External trade data are available at a detailed six-digit commodity code level. Monthly data for 50 countries at commodity code level are available in the database Monthly Comtrade.
Periodicity / time series: Comtrade includes time series with annual data from 1962 onwards and monthly data in Monthly Comtrade starting 2010. However data availability varies from one country to the next.
Charges / registration: The online database ist free. A registration or a subscription is possible but not necessary. Registered users can download larger amounts of data per extraction and can save the data extractions in their own profile. Monthly Comtrade database requires registration.
