According to provisional data, turnover in crafts with compulsory approval decreased by 0.7% in the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to the fourth quarter of 2022. Comparing the year 2023 to 2022, the turnover increased by 4.2%. This is caused mainly by the high inflation and high energy prices. The data are not price-adjusted.
In 2023 the number of persons employed by crafts entrepreneurs was decreased by 1.3% compared to the level a year earlier.
