Environmental Economic Accounting Ecosystem condition account: Semi-natural open areas

Semi-natural open areas (Division A04)
Condition variableSubvariableUnitCondition 2015Condition 2018Condition 2021
The values of the condition variables present the yearly arithmetic average for the respective ecosystem, if not definied differently by the measurement unit.
1: According to 39. BimSchV AOT (Accumulated Ozone Exposure) 40 is the sum of differences between ozone values above 80 micrograms per cubic metre over a specific period, based on hourly concentrations between 8 an 20 CET.
2: Calculation are based on ecosystem groups Natural or extensively used grassland and Wetlands.
3: Due to a methodological change in the underlying data source (increased spatial resolution) the changes between the time steps cannot be interpreted.
