Europe in Figures is an information platform provided by the Federal Statistical Office of Germany. Europe in Figures facilitates the search for harmonized comparative statistical data. All figures are provided by the EU Statistics Office, Eurostat.
The EU Statistics Office collects data from national sources – National Statistical Offices in particular – and uses common standards and methods to harmonize the data in order to ensure comparability. The data enables a reliable and objective assessment of the economic, social, ecological and technological trends. Eurostat is based in Luxembourg.
