Monthly distribution of fatal accidents

The monthly distribution of fatal traffic accidents differs depending on the mode of transport. Accidents involving pedestrians occur mainly in the darker seasons of the year, while accidents involving motorcyclists and cyclists peak during summer. Fatal car accidents are more or less evenly distributed throughout the year.
