WIESBADEN – In 2015, 163,335 married couples divorced in Germany, representing a decrease of 1.7% on 2014. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that, typically, the couples had been separated for one year (82.9%) or three years (15.8%) before their divorce.
