WIESBADEN – According to provisional results, the amount of waste generated in Germany was 402.2 million tonnes in 2015. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the amount generated remained almost unchanged (+0.3%) compared with a year earlier (2014: 401.0 million tonnes).
