WIESBADEN – In 2015, 77% of the German enterprises provided their staff with advanced training programmes aimed at continuing skills development. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the proportion of enterprises providing continuing training activities increased by 4 percentage points compared with 2010. In 2015, 62% of the enterprises offered traditional advanced training programmes in the form of courses and seminars. 74% of the enterprises made use of other forms of corporate training such as information events, job rotation and self-directed learning like, for instance, e-learning.
