WIESBADEN – Nearly one out of four businesses (23%) in Germany sold their goods or services via a website, app or electronic data interchange using dedicated lines (EDI) in 2016. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that 19% of the businesses engaged in e-commerce via a website or app, while only 5% used EDI (multiple responses were possible).
